The Cycle, a full-length vérité-styled documentary, generates the forward pull of surreal suspense as it follows the filmmaker and her husband on their journey into the maze of ART (Assisted Reproduction Technologies) to cure infertility. Through their trials emerges a tribute to a new found respect for life. Shot on locations in India, US, France, and Russia.

Irina had so much fertility treatment, her time is running out. When science fails to improve Irina's life, she searches for internal clues. Following the question "What went wrong," she learns that her medical condition was the result of a long-forgotten self-inflicted trauma.
